Darkness

9:22 a.m. - I am walking through the main courtyard of the academy to go from the dorms to the school building. I stop for a moment to take this photo.

As my mom said after I sent her this photo, "it's DAAAARK!"

(But then it gets even better...)

6:13 p.m. - I am returning to the dorms after my classes have finished and I have eaten dinner. I take another picture.

It looks just about the same as the first one, just taken from a different angle (because I was coming from the other direction). Meaning that I began and ended my day in essetially identical scenes of near-darkness. Less than nine hours had passed, and already the daylight had come and gone!
