Technical Difficulties

The past twenty-four or so hours have been full of technical difficulties, which is why I just now, in a moment of good WiFi, published my last blog post (I actually wrote it yesterday evening). Now, as I am writing this, I am once again with little to no internet, so this post may not make it onto my blog for a while more.

The WiFi in the dorms is unreliable, especially at night. That is usually not a problem now that my phone has a Russian SIM card (my monthly plan includes a gigabyte of cellular data), since usually either the WiFi, the 3G cellular data, or the low-speed cellular data is working well enough that I am able to access the internet.

Since yesterday afternoon, though, something has been wrong with all cellular services from the company that I use. All of the other trainees who use this company are having the same difficulties as I am (almost no cell service at all). 

This happened at a somewhat inconvenient time, for the WiFi in the dorms is being especially difficult right now, but I am hopeful that things will start working better in the very near future.

    I wish that that were my problem again!!! Sadly, though, my SIM card has money on it. I thought about our adventure at the MTC store while I checked my ballance :)
    On the bright side, service seems to be working a bit better. My internet is slow, but it is working. That is enough to make me happy!
